Dr. Chester Keasberry is a lecturer in the Design and Creative Industries programme at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

He obtained his PhD in Learning Design and Technology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Alongside his doctoral pursuit, he worked as a liaison officer under the Brunei-US English Language Enrichment Programme for ASEAN, a five-year project supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MoFAT) of Brunei Darussalam and the United States Department of State that involved many countries of ASEAN.

During his academic journey, he also studied at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.

His research interests include communication and media studies, the usage of social media in education, and the design of technology and learning.
