Nor’Azmah Yunus is a lecturer for the English Language Communication Skills group at the Language Centre. She teaches Academic Reading and Writing to first year GenNext students as well as students in the University Bridging Programme. She also teaches Intensive English Proficiency Course (IEPC) under the Global Discovery Programme (GDP) to international students from Thailand and Japan. Her primary research interest is in the area of flipped classroom and blended learning. She is currently co-investigating vocational student teachers’ perceptions on the flipped classroom, as well as exploring first year students’ perceptions on the blended learning approach and their self-regulated learning behaviour. She is also passionate about seeking better and innovative approaches and techniques to enhance the learning of English among international students at UBD. Participating in this student mobility project can thus provide her with some fresh insight into factors that may influence students’ experience in the learning of English.
